Hello and welcome! I am Emily, a surface pattern designer and K-12 art teacher.

Inspired by the imaginations of my students and my own children, I make art that is friendly and bright. If you’re looking for painterly, colorful designs for both kids and their grown ups, that’s me!

In addition to making patterns and teaching art, my true loves include: the beautiful state of North Carolina, baby animals, escapist fiction, humidity, and a quiet house.
